Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has inspected four ongoing road construction projects in the Edo Central Senatorial District as part of efforts to ensure quality infrastructure delivery across the state.
The projects inspected include the Uromi–Agbor Road, Ukpenu Road, Ujoelen Road, and Illeh Road.
During the inspection tour, the governor, accompanied by government officials and contractors handling the projects, assessed the level of work done and urged the contractors to maintain high construction standards.
Okpebholo said the visit formed part of the state government’s monitoring mechanism to ensure that ongoing infrastructure projects are executed according to specification and completed within the stipulated timeframe.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving road infrastructure across Edo State to enhance connectivity and support economic activities in various communities.
Contractors at the project sites briefed the governor on the progress of work and assured him that the projects would be completed as scheduled.
- The road projects are part of the Edo State Government’s ongoing infrastructure development initiatives aimed at improving transportation and easing movement for residents in Edo Central and surrounding areas.
