Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s presidential nominee, has won the state of Ondo.
Mr Tinubu received 369,924 votes, making him the victor.
Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), trailed him with 115,463 votes.
With 47,350 votes, Labour Party candidate Peter Obi finished in third place.
There were other results for the SDP (1,293), ZLP (4,783), and APGA (93 votes) that were included in the tally for NNPP’s Rabi’u Kwakwaso (1206).
Mr Tinubu overwhelmingly won all 18 of the state’s local government districts.
In Akure South LGA, where the party fared best, over 45,000 people cast ballots for the APC.
The Southern senatorial district of Odigbo, Ese-Odo, and Ilaje, together with the Ondo North senatorial district, helped the party secure victory.
It is yet to be formally announced by the INEC Returning Officer, despite having been delivered at the collation centre in Akure, the state capital.
