The funeral rites, held amid tight knit cultural observances, drew a significant turnout of notable figures from within and outside Osun State, underscoring the late chief’s influence in both traditional leadership circles and community development initiatives. Speakers at the ceremony described Chief Falomo as a man of “exceptional character,” whose contributions to the socio cultural fabric of Ilesa would remain enduring.

Family representatives expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of support and tributes, noting that the late chief lived a life defined by service, humility, and commitment to communal progress. Religious leaders at the service offered prayers for the repose of his soul, while also urging those present to emulate his legacy of peace building and generosity.

Traditional rites performed during the burial reflected the rich cultural heritage of the Ijesa people, blending solemn rituals with heartfelt remembrance. Elders of the community emphasized that Chief Falomo’s passing represents a significant loss to the traditional institution and the broader Osun State society.

In attendance were community leaders, business associates, and political figures who paid glowing tributes, highlighting his role in fostering unity and supporting local development projects during his lifetime.

The late Lofosan of Ilesa was remembered not only as a traditional titleholder but also as a bridge builder whose life impacted many across social and cultural divides.

According to widely reported accounts in Nigerian media, including leading national outlets such as The Punch, Vanguard, and Channels Television, the burial ceremony reflected the high regard in which Chief Falomo was held across Osun State and beyond.

As the curtains fall on his earthly journey, Ilesa and the wider Osun community continue to reflect on a legacy rooted in service, honor, and dedication to humanity.
