The Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Kelvin Ighodaro Eguakun, has been conferred with the title of Patron by the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Ogida Division, during a courtesy visit to his office.

The delegation, led by Mr. Agianaku Cletus, commended the Chairman for his remarkable achievements since assuming office, noting that his leadership style has continued to inspire confidence across Egor Local Government. According to Mr. Cletus, the visit was not only to appreciate the Chairman’s efforts but also to formally invest him as Patron of the PCRC.

While acknowledging his inclusive leadership, the delegation solicited support from the council, particularly towards completing infrastructural needs at the Ogida Division. Mr. Cletus explained that although the body has managed to erect an office building for administrative and communal use, assistance is still required to roof the structure and make it fully operational.

He praised the Police for their dedication to community safety and assured the Committee of his administration’s support. On the roofing request, he pledged that the council would look into it and render assistance within its capacity.

The Chairman reiterated his commitment to running an open-door policy, always ready to embrace partnerships and collaboration. He also used the occasion to thank the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his continuous support and vision in deepening grassroots democracy and governance.

Other members of the PCRC present during the visit included Prof. Osadolor Ofulime (Secretary), Elder Ehigiator Charles (Treasurer), and Hon. Judge (Financial Secretary).
