Pedestrians in Lagos State have raised concerns about the presence of louts and criminal activities on the PWD, Ladipo, Oshodi, and Berger bridges. Many pedestrians have expressed fear and sadness over having to cross the busy highways at night to avoid using the bridges. They claim that the bridges have become unsafe due to the presence of mentally challenged individuals and fierce-looking louts.

According to some pedePedestrians in Lagos State have raised concerns about the presence of louts and criminalstrians, suspected robbers target them on the bridges, especially at night, and steal their belongings. They have also noticed that portions of the bridges have been vandalized, and the government has not taken any action to address the issue. Pedestrians have called on the government to increase security measures, such as placing security officials on the bridges and regularly monitoring their condition.
