Police Don Hold Seven  pipo After Dass Clash Wey Kill Two People for Bauchi.

Police for Bauchi State don arrest seven suspects after one serious fight for Dass Local Government Area wey make two people lose dem life and cause plenty tension for di community.

Di incident happen on Friday, September 4, 2026, after person wey police identify as 29 year old Abdulrahman Nuru, one commercial tricycle rider from Bundot area for Dass, allegedly get attack.

According to police, preliminary investigation show say Nuru allegedly dey intercepted and dem attack am with cutlass for Tudun Wus around 6 p.m. Dem rush am go General Hospital, Dass, but doctor for di hospital confirm say e don die.

After di killing, tension rise for di area. Police say some youths from Bundot allegedly gather and move go Bayan Fada, apparently for revenge attack.

Di situation later turn violent near open space close to Dass Central Motor Park.

During di clash, police say 38 year old Mukhtar Jibrin, wey dey live for Bayan Fada, allegedly receive knife stab.

Dem first carry Jibrin go General Hospital, Dass, before dem refer am go Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital for Bauchi. But doctors for di hospital also confirm say e don die.

After di violence, police detectives move enter di area to control di situation and bring calm back. Seven suspects don so far land for police net over allegations wey include criminal conspiracy, inciting disturbance and culpable homicide.

Di suspects na Umar Abubakar, 20, from Bayan Fada, wey police describe as principal suspect; Blus Garba, 19; Adamu Muhammad, 17; Hussaini Danjuma, 17; Hassan Danjuma, 17; Shuaibu Sani, 17; and Aliyu Abdullahi, 18. Police say di other six suspects come from Bundot area.

Police Command talk say dem still dey make effort to catch other people wey allegedly take part for di violence but never enter police hand.

Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, CP Sani Omolori Aliyu, condemn di killings and order make police carry out proper and discreet investigation to know exactly wetin happen and who dey responsible.

Di CP also beg people for Dass make dem stay calm and obey law. E warn residents make dem no take law enter dem own hand or use revenge attack to answer another crime.

Police personnel from Dass Division don already dey work for di area, while personnel from Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps also dey present during di early stage of di incident.

Di incident show again how one criminal attack fit quickly turn into revenge violence if authorities and community leaders no act fast.

Police dey urge residents to cooperate with investigators and provide useful information wey fit help dem arrest anybody wey still dey involved.
