Police Recruitment: Edo Command Issues Final Notice as Screening Ends April 18

The Edo State Police Command has issued a final notice to applicants in the ongoing 2025/2026 police recruitment exercise, announcing that the physical and credential screening will close on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

The Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, urged all candidates who missed their scheduled screening dates, did not receive invitations despite being qualified, or have unresolved screening issues, to take advantage of the remaining window before the deadline.

He also advised applicants sitting for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations within the period to proceed to the screening venue immediately after their exams, noting that the exercise continues daily until 6:00 p.m.

The command stressed that candidates who fail to present themselves before the deadline would forfeit their chances, as no extension would be granted.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and merit, the police encouraged all eligible applicants to utilise the final opportunity to complete their screening.

The notice was conveyed in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Eno Ikoedem, on Thursday.
