The Ogun State Police Command has launched a manhunt for a driver, Kareem Mohammed, who allegedly absconded with his Chinese employer’s vehicle. The vehicle, a silver GACS car with the registration number GGE 317 GT, was reportedly taken on November 1, 2024, around noon.
According to the police, Mohammed’s employer, Eve Nwang, who works at Niger Cedar Company in Ojodu, reported the incident. Officers from the Ojodu-Abiodun Police Division have initiated a search for the missing vehicle and suspect.
Police spokesperson Omolola Odutola confirmed that detectives visited the scene and are making efforts to locate the car and apprehend Mohammed. The case remains under investigation.
