The Rivers State Police Command in Nigeria has arrested two suspected robbers who are involved in stealing motorcycles and robbing bank customers.
The suspects were apprehended during routine checks along the Olu Obasanjo axis of Port Harcourt. The spokesperson for the State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, stated that the suspects confessed to their crimes, which included robbing victims of their money and property inside parked cars using specialized keys. They also admitted to stealing motorcycles by using ignition wires to start them, as well as robbing bank customers after their withdrawals.
The suspects are currently in police custody and will be charged in court. The Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, has urged the public to support the police in fighting crime in Rivers State.
