A woman in Nigeria caused a stir online after she disclosed the daily salary she receives from her job at a car wash.
Anita, a young woman who prefers to go by her first name only, claims to make N150,000 per day by washing customers’ cars.
She made the announcement on her social media page in response to the widespread complaint among Nigerians that they can’t find work in their home country.
Even though she didn’t wear a uniform or dress in a way that would suggest she works at a car wash, Anita posted photos of herself on social media washing the tyre of a parked car.
‘Don’t say there’s no work in Naija o,’ she pleaded, ‘I make 150k a day washing cars (lucrative business)’
Social media users flooded her timeline with comments discrediting her claim that she makes that much money from washing cars.
