Milan’s local rivals Inter are second with 24 points from 11 games after they won 3-1 at Cagliari.
Napoli is one point further back in third thanks to a 2-1 win over Sampdoria.
Champions Juventus also have 23 points following a 3-1 victory over Genoa.

During Stefano Pioli’s interview with Skysport, Obaland magazine learned, Stefano Pioli says  “It was a very complicated match, I congratulate Genoa, this is a difficult pitch. We had chances in the first half and I think the match’s trajectory would’ve changed. We gave everything and it was important to bring home a draw. We were a team until the end by not giving up”

Pioli went on: “Certainly the absences had an impact, they change the characteristics of the team and the opportunity for substitutions. Tonali is a complete midfielder who can do both phases. Today for him and Kessie’ it wasn’t easy to start a run of play. It won’t be the next two matches that tell us our future. We know what our journey is, the goal is to improve from last season- we must bring Milan back to the Champions League”
