Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Mobilization, and Engagement Visits The Commissioner of Information and Communication

In recognition of the important role of effective communication strategies within the government, the Special Adviser to the Governor of Edo state on Political Matters, Mobilization, and Engagement, Hon. Eugene Utubor, paid a significant visit to the Commissioner of Information and Communication, Hon.Paul Ohonbamu, to discuss collaboration on enhancing communication strategies within the government.

During the visit, the Special Adviser emphasized the crucial role of effective communication in mobilizing support for government initiatives and ensuring transparency in governance. The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to explore innovative ways to engage the public through various media channels and community outreach programs.

The Commissioner, Hon. Paul, appreciated Hon Eugene for the visit and also congratulated him on his appointment as the SA on political matters, mobilization and engagement to His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo. He highlighted the importance of a unified approach to disseminating information that resonates with the populace. The key topics discussed in the meeting included strategies for improving public awareness of governor Okpebholo policies and increasing Edo people engagement in the political process in the state.

“We recognize that effective communication is the backbone of an engaged citizenry. Our collaboration will play a vital role in ensuring that our initiatives are well understood and embraced by the good people of our dear Edo state and beyond,” stated Hon. Paul Ohonbamu.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to work jointly on initiatives that promote open dialogue between the government and the people, and to ultimately foster trust and accountability.

These bold steps taken so far by Hon Eugene Utubor in less than 30 days of resuming office has revealed his strong ability to collaborate and engage with all sun dry to ensure a prosperous and a risen Edo state our dream.
