The Match Against Juventus Tonight Could Be the Last Match under the China Company

Due to the pandemic, crisis, Obaland magazine learned from Corriere Dello Sport that  The Chinese company is close to selling its stake in the Nerazzurri after taking over a majority stake in 2016. British international investment firm BC Partners is ready to make an offer after completing the period of due diligence and Corriere Dello Sport reports that there is already a substantial understanding between the parties. The club is valued at around €750-800m, including debts, with BC given exclusivity until February 28.

The British fund could initially enter with a minority stake before taking full control at a later date.

That means Sunday could be the final Derby d’Italia of the Suning era and could have a pleasing symmetry.

Inter’s last win over Juve came just three months after the Chinese conglomerate had assumed majority control from Erick Thohir.

That came in September 2016 as Frank de Boer’s side came from a goal down to win 2-1 at San Siro.
