A statement signed by His Excellency, Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion, former Governor of Edo State on behalf of the family disclosed that Madam Maria Oredola Igbinedion passed away in the early hours of today, December 2nd, 2021.
“With gratitude to God for a fruitful and eventful life, we announce the transition to glory of our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Madam Maria Oredola Igbinedion who joined the Saints in the early hours of today, 2nd December 2021 at the age of 85.
“She is survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and the burial arrangements would be announced later,” the statement added.
