The (NCS) Adamawa and Taraba states command has seized Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) worth over N104.4 million in Adamawa State. The seized items include 36,835 liters of PMS packed in 1,219 jerrycans and 24 drums, intended for smuggling into a neighboring country.

The Nigeria Customs Service is cracking down on smuggling activities to enhance national security, energy security, and economic growth. According to Comptroller Garba Bashir, unchecked killing and exportation of donkeys could lead to their extinction, emphasizing the importance of these animals in agriculture, transportation, and companionship.
The NCS has repositioned its operatives to maintain momentum in the fight against economic saboteurs, despite threats and intimidation. The command assures that it will not relent in this fight until smugglers are brought to justice, emphasizing the need for collective efforts from all Nigerians
