The Super Eagles have commenced their training camp in Antalya

The Super Eagles have commenced their training camp in Antalya, Turkey, with 15 players already arrived, ahead of their international friendlies against Iran and Jordan. The early arrivals include Alex Iwobi, Fisayo Bashiru, Emmanuel Oluwasegun, Yira Sor, Paul Onuachu, and Philip Otele, among others.
The team is lodged at the Bellis Deluxe Hotel in Antalya, with their first training session scheduled for Wednesday at 4 p.m. local time. Super Eagles Media Officer, Promise Efoghe, expressed satisfaction with the early turnout of players, citing it as a good sign of commitment.
“We are encouraged by the level of commitment shown by the players. Having 15 already in camp on the first day is a good sign,” Efoghe said. The Super Eagles will face Iran on March 27 at 4 p.m., before taking on Jordan on March 31 at 8 p.m. in Antalya. Head Coach Eric Chelle had earlier named a 23-man squad for the matches, with notable absentees including Victor Osimhen, Ola Aina, and Stanley Nwabali
