Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu’s wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, advised Christians of all faiths to embrace peace and unity for Nigeria’s advancement on Thursday.
“Beyond this service, I admonish us in the light of Hebrews 12:14 that we should follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord,” the governor’s wife said during the “Casting Crowns” theme of the 2023 Lagos Praise 3.0.
“Let us embrace peace and be pure in our interactions with people.”

She went on to say that the theme was chosen to represent the gathering’s essence, which she said was the act of laying down one’s crown and bowing down to worship.
Talking about the occasion, Sanwo-Olu said, “The drive began as a stage for the Principal Family, Elegant Women, and individuals from the Board of Spouses of Lagos State Authorities, which is likewise led by me to meet up in a joint effort with the five coalitions of the Christian Relationship of Nigeria, Lagos State part.
“This is with the intention of worshipping and praising God on a regular basis for His faithfulness and kindness, as well as serving as an avenue to pray for good governance, peace, and development in Lagos State,” the statement reads.
