TINUBU DON ORDER NIGERIA SECURITY FORCES  MAKE DEM GO RESCUE PEOPLE WEY GUNMEN CARRY FOR NIGER STATE MOSQUE.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don order Nigeria security forces make dem immediately start operation to rescue people wey gunmen kidnap during attack for mosque and some communities for Borgu Local Government Area, Niger State.

The order come on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, after gunmen attack people during Friday prayer on August 21. Presidency say Armed Forces, Nigeria Police, DSS and other security and intelligence agencies don receive instruction to work together for rescue operation and make dem find the people wey dem carry go.

The attack reportedly affect Kpenya/Dekara and some other communities for Borgu area. Different reports don give different numbers of people wey dem kidnap. Some residents and one video wey dey circulate for social media claim say up to 600 women, pikin and old people fit don dey among the victims. But Reuters say dem never independently confirm the 600 figure. Earlier reports from local sources and Amnesty International give much lower numbers.

Tinubu don condemn the attack and assure the affected families say Federal Government go increase efforts to rescue the victims safely. E also direct security chiefs make dem continue to give updates about the rescue operation and make sure say all the people wey dem kidnap dey accounted for.

The latest attack don add to the growing security wahala for northern Nigeria, where kidnapping and attacks continue to worry communities. As security agencies dey work to rescue the victims, authorities never confirm the exact number of people wey gunmen carry go.
