Kebbi State Police Inspector Dies in Solo Vehicle Mishap during Investigative Mission
A tragic incident occurred along Koko-Jega Road as a police vehicle, carrying officers on an investigative assignment, flipped three times into a roadside bush due to a burst tyre.
The accident claimed the life of Inspector Sa’idu Idiya, while others sustained injuries. The police team, led by ACP Suleiman Sade, was en route to a crime scene in Koko/Besse Local Government Area. Inspector Idiya was pronounced dead at a hospital in Koko, and the injured officers were transferred to Birnin Kebbi’s FMC for further treatment.
The spokesperson conveyed condolences and prayers for the departed officer.
