UAE Bans Citizen Travel to Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq Citing Regional Tensions

The United Arab Emirates announced Thursday a travel ban for its citizens to Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq, citing ongoing regional instability linked to the Middle East conflict.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the decision was made “in light of current regional developments,” according to state news agency WAM. The move follows months of heightened tensions in the region. The conflict, sparked by a US-Israeli strike and later paused under a fragile ceasefire, has seen Iran target Gulf nations, including missile attacks on civilian and energy infrastructure
