Jason Njoku, a British-Nigerian entrepreneur and one of the co-founders of iROKOtv, has discussed the reasons why men should marry wealthy women.
This information was shared by the father of three on Wednesday in the form of a series of tweets, in which he provided the reasoning for the recommendation.
He stated that his wife, Mary Remmy Njoku, was his first investment, and he advised them to “invest aggressively in one” if they were unable to marry a wealthy woman. He claimed that Mary Remmy Njoku was his first investor.
“That is the best piece of advice I’ve ever received. When your wife is able to fund the full lifestyle on her own, you will realise how amazing things really are. Mortgage, tuition, and other living expenses make for the easiest life. It is the path to take.
“It kills me to inform her that she is my retirement fund. That would be the case if I lost all I own. To preserve the standard of living I’ve been accustomed to, all I need to do is be a decent spouse. Real conversation. A few years ago, I made the mistake of overextending myself by investing in many new ventures. They ate up all of my money and then began devouring hers as well.
“Everything was paid for using Mrs. Mary Njoku’s money. The only thing she requested was that I keep the money safe. Inspiration multiplied by one hundred. so long as everything is going well at home. Nothing even trembles.
“The only disagreements we’ve ever had over money have always been about how carelessly I spend it. However, I was born with that trait. Personally, I don’t want to have to put in too much effort. Retirement at 50. The stress from my employment makes my skin worse.
