According to what City Round learned, youths from the Ibilla and Oju communities got into a bloody land dispute on Sunday.

In an effort to contain the outbreak of violence in the area, the state government imposed a curfew on residents on Monday following the altercation.

During a phone interview with our correspondent, the youth leader of the Igede Youth Council, Andyson Egbodo, revealed that calm had returned.

He stated, “Some people from both sides have died, and property has also been destroyed.” According to the information I have access to, approximately 14 people have died; 12 from the opposing community and two from one community.
