“Over the years, you have been an embodiment of commitment to probity and accountability in governance leveraging on your intellectual capacity, oratorial prowess and sound legal training. Our paths first crossed when I was the President of my departmental students Association at the University of Benin when you had to intervene in the unjust rustication of late Comrade Hilary Ojukwu by the University authorities. You represented him pro bono.
“Since then, we have had to collaborate in many struggles through the vehicles of the National Counscience Party (NCP) and Civil Society Organizations in the continued quest to emancipate the masses from poverty, bad governance and the adoption of the neo-liberal policies dictated by the Brentwood institutions for our dear country.
“Fate again brought us together when the Oracle of the Universe, Chief Dr D. U. Edebiri OON, the people’s Esogban brought me into the Castle of Legends Initiative (COLI), where you have been an intellectual powerhouse and Your activism has been focused and results-oriented with numerous laurels of garland to show for it.
