Hon Adaze Andrew Emwanta esq who was a member of the People Democratic Party (PDP) has tendered his resignation letter to the PDP chairman of Edo state.
According to Hon Adaze statement he described his decision as a sad one but he believed it will help to address the visible underdevelopment of their great local government (Uwelu to Evbuotubu)
He further revealed that PDP was established in 1998 which he mentioned his father late Hon. Cletus Eghianruwa Emwanta (JP) and his uncle Pa. Godfrey Emwanta as the founding leaders who invested their precious time and resources contributions towards the growth and success of the party of both in the local government area in the state.
Hon Adaze also pointed out that the crisis hitting the PDP in their LGA is being orchestrated by external forces, particularly those in Osadebe Avenue. Revealing that he insisted on the fact during their last LGA caucus meeting and ready to sacrifice his being a commissioner to ensure his interference stops. But sadly things have become worse with the imposition of a local godfather on them and not acceptable to him.
To round it all, Hon Adaze stated that he wish to withdraw his application letter to serve as the commissioner representing Egor in the state Exco, saying he wish all the members of their Exco good luck in his future political endeavors.
