June 23, 2023, Rome: After the meeting of discussion and appreciation between the Italians and Nigerians

23rd of June 2023, the awards ceremony recognises the outstanding work and achievements of the Nigerian immigration services who are trying to better their nations’ well-being based on their hard work. Obaland TV and Magazine to this day of verification, found the staff of the Immigration service in recognition of passport intervention especially in the 8 regions of Italy in the last 2 years which cannot be compared to other countries.

During the presentation, compliments were given to every staff for their humility and honesty starting with praises to the Nigerian ambassador to Italy HIs excellency Mfawa Omini Abam with a figurative name (man wey sabi), and Mrs Hajia (The mother of the clan).

Mrs Kemi Nanna Nandap (ACG, Immigration Service, Abuja) was also present, she explained how the love for Nigerians in the Diaspora is growing and all hands are on deck to provide not just standard but, also enhanced passports which carry more security measures. She clearly stated that the team is trained on 3 key values; professionalism, discipline and hostmanship for good services and that is what they live by.

She presented awards on behalf of Obaland TV to Mrs LARAI MOHAMMED ZAKARIDEPUTY COMPTROLLER OF IMMIGRATION known as Haija, DAUDA MAKCIT SUPERINTENDENT OF IMMIGRATION, NASIRU SHITTU
DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT OF IMMIGRATION, and EBOLUM N CHARLES DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT OF IMMIGRATION (In absentia),  and Iyewumi Adeniran Head (Information, Culture & Education) Desk (In absentia) for living out the key values of the Immigration service and encouraging them to do more in obedience, dedication and humility. Mrs Kemi was appreciated for her kindness overall on behalf of Obaland Directors and Board Members and thanked the Ambassador for accessibility to his office.
