Boko Haram ethnic factions battle, kill 82 in Borno

the conflict was set off by the killing of seven Boko Haram warriors from the Buduma clan. The warriors were executed by their officer on Bukkwaram Island after their bombed give up to the Nigerian military on Thursday.

“So subsequent to killing them, an ethnic emergency broke out among the four clans of the contenders — Hausa, Fulani, Kanuri and Buduma.

“A portion of the contenders of the Buduma ethnic gathering blamed the commandant for oppressiveness, taking into account how they are losing warriors in the space as of late,” the source added.

As per the source, a gathering was called where all commandants, no matter what their clans, concurred that warriors could withdraw to their ideal areas.
