It is deeply concerning to hear that a 70-year-old piggery farmer and elder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pa Adeife Ifelaja, has been kidnapped. He was abducted from his residence in Ijebu Igbo on while preparing for the Crossover service.
The kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N50 million for his release. The police have been notified, and efforts are being made to secure his safe return. The Commissioner of Police has assured that the police are actively pursuing the kidnappers and doing everything possible to ensure Pa Adeife’s release and reunification with his family.
