According to sources from the Ogun State Police Command, the fire was discovered when several individuals came looking for Falansa after he failed to respond to their attempts to reach him. A resident, known only as Kafaya, recounted the moment she realized something was amiss. She stated, “We didn’t think something of that nature had happened until two boys came to look for Falansa. That fire was believed to have been caused by a spark from an electrical plug, which ignited while the family was asleep, highlighting the urgent need for increased awareness and safety measures concerning fire hazards.
