Police in Ogun State have apprehended a suspected member of an armed robbery gang believed to be behind recent criminal activities in the Olomore area of Abeokuta North Local Government Area.
The suspect, Jonah Onah, was detained at a known hideout in Olomore following a targeted operation based on credible intelligence. The operation, conducted by officers from the Lafenwa Division on October 23, led to Onah’s arrest at around 9:50 PM.
Authorities recovered a decoy gun and a jackknife from the suspect during the raid. Efforts are currently underway to locate and capture other members of the gang as the investigation continues.
