This outburst came in response to the EFCC’s plea for Nigerians to show empathy towards one of their officials who was killed during a raid in Anambra State.
Bobrisky took to Instagram Stories to express his disdain for the EFCC, accusing them of hypocrisy. He stated that the police are “100% better” than the EFCC, sharing his personal experience of being in EFCC custody. According to Bobrisky, the EFCC searched his house, claiming he was involved in money laundering and checking if he was printing money at home.
Bobrisky’s comments highlight the growing criticism of the EFCC’s methods and tactics.
The commission has faced accusations of corruption, abuse of power, and human rights violations. As the EFCC continues to face scrutiny, Bobrisky’s comments add to the growing chorus of voices calling for reform and accountability.
