Columbus Irisoanga, a veteran Nollywood actor known for his iconic roles as a native doctor in movies, has died. The news of his passing was announced by fellow actor Hilda Dokubo on Instagram.
Dokubo shared a tribute to Irisoanga, saying, “Our uncle Coli @colu_mbusirisoanga has gone to be with the lord. Ikoli eh dein na mu. There can’t be a shortage of angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na! This one is heavy on Uniport Rivers State Nollywood.”

Irisoanga, a native of Rivers State, was not only a renowned actor but also a senior lecturer at the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Port Harcourt. He appeared in numerous films, including the notable movie “Issakaba” released in 2003.
