The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc, on Tuesday, May 28, 2025, convened a strategic meeting with all Area Commanders, PMF Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Tactical Team Commanders at the Police Officers’ Mess, Benin City.
During the briefing, the CP lauded officers of the Command for their tireless dedication and professionalism, attributing the significant operational successes recorded in recent times to their unwavering commitment and hard work.
He equally used the opportunity to review the Command’s existing policing strategies, charging officers to sustain and intensify raids on criminal hideouts, cult enclaves, and other flashpoints across the state.
While addressing the issue of professional standards, CP Agbonika issued a stern warning to all senior officers to properly lecture and monitor their personnel against acts of indiscipline and misconduct, reiterating that the Command maintains a strict zero tolerance stance for unprofessional behaviour.
