Why Gov. Okpebholo is the Man of the People- Ohonbamu

                                                                                                                                             Edo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon Paul Ohonbamu has described the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo as a hurricane, changing the political, economic and social landscape across the state.

The Commissioner who was reacting to the land slide victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC candidates in the just concluded By-Election in the state, noted that it is now obvious that there is a clarion call for change by Edo people.

According to him, “Governor Okpebholo is championing the change with the crusade for a Risen Edo State, by sweeping clean the debris of the past bad administration

“With the dismantling of the political opposition and realignment with the APC by renowned politicians in the state, Edo people can now feel the breeze of change blowing across the state, confirming Governor Okpebholo, the Man of the People.

“Governor Okpebholo, unlike the previous administration prefers due diligence, due process, accountability and prudent management of funds.

“Governor Okpebholo, a grass root politician, popularly known as “Akpakomiza” prefers to be on the side of the people, working for the people who are the reason why he was elected as governor of the state.

“It is his steadfastness, consistency and keeping to his promise that has endeared him to all, especially with the massive construction of roads across the state, giving a new lease of life to the Civil Service, revamping of the health and Education sector, the revival of the New Edo Line and working towards ensuring food Sufficiency, through the Agricultural Programmes, the construction of the first Fly over bridge in Benin and others.

The Commissioner disclosed that the Governor is a team player who appreciates all the political leaders and the Elder statesmen in the state because governance is a collective effort.

“Edo people must now come together to support the administration for the good of the state. We must pray for Gov. Okpebholo to succeed because doing so is praying for our survival as a people and state.

” The well being of a leader translates to the well being of the state and it’s people. Any body still remaining in the opposition should shun the spread of falsehood because Governor Okpebholo is working.
