The newly constructed Emaudo Police Station was officially commissioned on February 26, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the security architecture and enhance effective policing in Edo State.

The facility was built and donated by Chief Patrick Agbator, popularly known as Chosen, a native of Emaudo community in Ekpoma, and a renowned business tycoon and philanthropist.

At the ceremony, the station was formally handed over to the Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, Monday Agbonika, alongside operational assets aimed at improving mobility and service delivery.
These include one Toyota Sienna vehicle, one Toyota Hilux patrol vehicle, a motorcycle for rapid response operations, and a generator set to ensure uninterrupted power supply at the facility.
The event attracted high chiefs, elders, community leaders, and top government functionaries from Ekpoma, Emaudo, and surrounding communities, who commended the gesture as a major boost to security and community policing in the area.
