The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed concerns over reported tensions within the party in Oyo State, saying the situation is nothing to worry about. APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the developments as “normal banter” among party members vying for positions.
Morka explained that disagreements are expected in a party of APC’s size, especially with multiple aspirants jostling for positions. He emphasized that the party follows clearly defined procedures and that payments made by aspirants are voluntary.
The party remains open to addressing concerns raised by members, and the forthcoming APC convention will showcase party unity and present its direction to Nigerians.
