Meet former Awaiting Trial Prisoner who was wrongfully accused of four years by SARS

Obaland Magazine turned on a spotlight on one of Nigerian finest young Human Right Activists who went through In 2011, the former Prisoner who was unjustly and wrongfully incarcerated for four years in four different prisons in Nigeria by #SARS spoke with Pushe Egbe about his experience and more.
My name is Harrison Gwamnishu the CEO of HarryTech Security – sale and installation of CCTV Camera, CEO HarryTech Processing – Garri Processing. Also into taxi services -Airport Shuttle and a member of Delta State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Police Brutality.I am a skilled Community Advocate in the field of Human Rights as well as Prison Reformation and my work involves constantly Advocating for social good while providing out-of-the-ordinary, adaptable solutions to some of Nigeria’s biggest problems.
CEO HarryTech Processing – Garri Processing said that he was arrested unlawfully by SARS in 2011 when I was 22- year- old on an allegation of Armed Robbery. I was discharged by High Court 5 Asaba. The judge discharged me without the help of my family.
The Human Right Activist said he has a six years proven track record of not just advocating for the rights and welfare of prison inmates but has advocated the rights of oppressed Nigerians whose rights were violated.
I was among 1000 young Africans leaders honored with the Mandela Washington Fellow award in the United States for his selfless service to humanity.
I have been featured on thousands of online media and press media for his doggedness and great achievement in the fight against Injustice and promotion of human rights in Africa using Behind Bars Human Rights Foundation, a foundation he founded in 2015 when he was discharged by Delta State High Court. Currently, a member Delta State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Police Brutality.
The CEO of HarryTech Security – sale and installation of CCTV Camera, explained to OperaNews that those who have been to Kirikiri Prison Apapa Lagos State can attest that God is on my side. I mean those who have slept there. When I was in Jail, they kept me in Cell E-2, a place called ‘Armed robbery block’. Whether you are innocent or not, you are seen as an Armed Robber. Lawyers should be able to tell you my jail term, that’s if I was convicted for the crime I know nothing about. It could have been a death sentence or life imprisonment. There was no way my poor parents would have been able to pay my legal fees.

The 30 -year-old man added that he was charges, Conspiracy, Armed Robbery, Possession of Firearms, and attempt to Murder. Your ugly experience today will turn out to be your big story tomorrow. When I left prison on 30th November 2015, I didn’t crawl into my room crying and seeking pity, I didn’t give anyone a chance to stigmatize me. I picked up my broken self and started afresh. 2017, I found myself in one of the biggest Universities in the United States Rutgers University-New Brunswick, it was fully funded by United States Sponsored Program.
