The All Progressives Congress in Edo State has announced the timetable for its forthcoming primary elections ahead of the 2026 general elections.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, May 13, 2026, the party said the House of Representatives primary election will hold on Friday, May 15, while the Senate primary election is scheduled for Monday, May 18.
The party also fixed Wednesday, May 20, for the State House of Assembly primary election, while the Presidential primary election is slated for Saturday, May 23, 2026.
The Edo State chapter of the APC urged party members, supporters, and stakeholders across the state to participate peacefully and actively in the exercise.
According to the statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Barr. Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie, the party called on members to uphold unity, democracy, and discipline throughout the process.
The APC said it remains committed to building a stronger and more united party in Edo State and Nigeria at large.
