Torino, Italy – In a significant step toward strengthening intercultural dialogue and community development, the President of Obaland Magazine and the Multichoice Media House, accompanied by members of the organisation, paid a courtesy and working visit to the Office of the President of Circoscrizione 6, Torino, Mr Valerio Lomanto.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to exchange ideas on promoting social cohesion, cultural integration, and mutual understanding among Italians and immigrant communities living in the city of Torino. The discussions focused on identifying practical ways to foster intercultural values, encourage civic participation, and strengthen collaboration between local institutions and diverse communities.

President Valerio Lomanto has distinguished himself through his commitment to improving the quality of life of residents within Circoscrizione 6. During his tenure, he has supported initiatives aimed at enhancing public spaces, promoting youth participation through sports and educational programs, supporting local businesses, and encouraging community engagement. His administration has also demonstrated a commitment to social inclusion by supporting cultural activities and projects that celebrate diversity and strengthen neighbourhood relations.

The delegation from Obaland Magazine and Multichoice Media House commended President Lomanto for his dedication to community development and his efforts to ensure that all residents, regardless of their cultural background, feel included and represented in the growth of Torino.

Speaking during the visit, representatives of Obaland Magazine emphasised the importance of intercultural cooperation in modern society. Troops sustained operations against oil theft and violent crime in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Delta and Edo: Discovery of illegal siphoning rigs and 4,000 litres of stolen crude in Rivers and Delta. Recovery of over 1,500 litres of illegally refined diesel in Akwa Ibom. Arrest of 5 suspected kidnappers in Edo. Recovery of GPMGs, RPG tubes, 11 AK-47s, grenades, hundreds of rounds of ammo, and IPOB uniforms. Raid of a crude oil storage site in Imo and recovery of cash, weapons from armed robbery suspects in Ebonyi
