According to police authorities, the suspects had been on the command’s wanted list over their alleged involvement in a series of armed robbery activities that reportedly posed security concerns within the area. Their arrest followed coordinated intelligence-led operations carried out by security personnel in Mubi, a key commercial hub in northern Adamawa State.

The Police Command disclosed that preliminary investigations are underway to determine the full extent of the suspects’ alleged criminal activities, including possible links to other robbery incidents within and beyond the locality. Authorities noted that the operation reflects the command’s commitment to tracking down criminal elements and ensuring that offenders are brought to justice.

Security analysts have continued to emphasize the importance of intelligence gathering, community cooperation, and sustained law enforcement operations in addressing armed robbery and related crimes across Nigeria. The latest arrests are expected to contribute to ongoing efforts aimed at enhancing security and restoring public confidence in law enforcement institutions.

The Adamawa State Police Command urged residents to remain vigilant and continue providing credible information that could assist security agencies in preventing crime and maintaining peace across communities. Police officials further assured the public that investigations would continue and that any individuals found culpable would face the full weight of the law.
