West Bank Violence Don Worse: Over 2,000 Attacks wey Dem  Record for August, Thousands of Palestinians don die.

situation for di occupied West Bank don continue to get worse as attacks by Israeli forces and Israeli settlers reach very high levels, with Palestinians facing killings, destruction of properties, farmland and forced displacement.

According to figures wey di United Nations don release, 76 Palestinians don die for di West Bank from January reach August 10, 2026, including 18 children. Di level of settler violence don also rise sharply. Di UN say e don document more than 1,430 incidents of settler violence since di beginning of 2026. Di incidents include people getting injured, destruction of property and attacks wey affect Palestinian communities. About 260 Palestinian communities don be affected by di violence, and many of di incidents happen when Israeli forces dey present.

For August alone, di Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission report say Israeli forces and settlers carry out 2,030 attacks against Palestinians, their land, properties and holy places across di West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Out of di 2,030 attacks, 1,402 na attacks wey Israeli forces carry out, while settlers carry out 628. Nablus Governorate record di highest number with 380 attacks, followed by Ramallah and Al-Bireh with 353, Hebron with 275, Bethlehem with 239, Jenin with 230, and Jerusalem with 194 attacks.

Di attacks no stop for people alone. Agricultural land and trees don also suffer serious destruction. During August, 21,508 trees reportedly get destroyed or damaged, including 19,375 olive trees. Olive farming na important source of food and income for plenty Palestinian families, so di destruction fit affect dem livelihood for long time.

Di violence don also cause serious displacement. Di United Nations say about 3,800 Palestinians don already get displaced for 2026, with almost half of dem being children. Di displacement dey come from settler violence, demolitions and evictions.

Di Palestinian commission also report say settlers try to establish 32 new settlement outposts during August, especially around Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Hebron and Nablus. Such expansion dey increase concerns about Palestinian communities losing access to farmland and grazing areas.

Di United Nations don describe di West Bank as being “at di breaking point”, while warning say settler violence don reach unprecedented levels. International organisations and rights groups don continue to call for protection of Palestinian civilians and accountability for people wey dey responsible for attacks.

For Palestinians, dem say statements of condemnation no dey enough again. Dem dey demand concrete international action, protection for civilians and accountability for people wey carry out violence.

As di attacks continue, di West Bank crisis dey add another serious humanitarian challenge to di wider Israeli Palestinian conflict, with families losing loved ones, homes, farmland and sources of livelihood.
