Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has provided an update on the injury he sustained during Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Cameroon in the AFCON. Nwabali was substituted in the 80th minute after a collision with Georges-Kevin N’Koudou left him in pain. Speaking to the media after the game, Nwabali mentioned that he is still feeling some pain and will have to wait for the doctor’s report.
The extent of his injury is yet to be assessed by the team’s medical staff, but there is hope that he will be able to feature in the quarter-finals against Angola.
