In a swift follow‑up to the operation that decimated scores of Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Bitta village, Gwoza LGA of Borno State, troops of Sector 2 under
Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have seized a logistics consignment destined for Islamic State West Africa Province militants. Acting on credible human intelligence indicating movement of supplies from Dapchi, Yobe State, toward Magumeri in Borno, troops coordinated with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and intercepted two pick‑up vans along the identified route.
The drivers and the seized materials are now in military custody for interrogation and further counter‑terrorism investigation. A military source said the interception underscores the
effectiveness of intelligence‑driven operations and sustained collaboration between troops and local security partners in disrupting terrorist logistics networks. The source added that OPHK remains resolute in denying terrorists freedom of movement, cutting off their supply chains, and ensuring the safety of law‑abiding citizens across the North‑East.
