Rome, Italy – May 24, 2025 Dr. Mrs. Loretta Oduware Ogbor- Okor, the Director General of the Edo State Diaspora Agency, has arrived in Rome, Italy on a landmark mission to promote harmonization and increase awareness among the Edo community abroad.
Her visit marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts of the Edo State Government, under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor of Edo State, to strengthen ties with the diaspora and foster greater involvement in the state’s development agenda.
The DG’s presence in Rome signals a renewed commitment to uniting Edo citizens overseas, promoting cultural heritage, and driving investment and collaboration from the global Edo diaspora community.
Further engagements and strategic meetings are expected during her stay, as part of a broader initiative to position the Edo State Diaspora Agency as a bridge between the state government and its citizens abroad.
