The Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) in collaboration with the state government has oorganized this year Easter choral day, theme: Resurrection and Renewal at the Ebonyi state Ecumenical Centre in Abakaliki, the state capital.
The State CAN, Chairman, His Eminence Rev. Dr. Scamb C. Nwokolo expressed their appreciation to God and the Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross to give mankind eternal glory.
He also expressed his gratitude to the state Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, his Deputy, Her Excellency Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila.and all the stakeholders, Traditional Rulers and every body present in the event.
The Chairman called on Christians in the state to always pray for the state Governor Rt. Hon. Ogbonna Nwifuru and members of his cabinet for caring for the Association.
The Governor who was represented by the Chief of Staff, Professor Emmanuel Echagu Commended the CAN chairman and his members for their prayers for peaceful environment in the state said, “the Governor is recognizing their efforts in prayers for the success of his administration. He also promised that his government will always be supportive of their activities.
Professor. Rev. Wilberforce Oti in his message called on Christians to serve God with patient, courage and with long suffering knowing that God’s reward is the greatest reward that lasts forever.
