Deputy Executive Director, Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ) Comrade Leo Atakpu has been celebrated as an outstanding activist of the year for his service to humanity.
The Project Coordinator, BA Global Awards, Dr. Bishop Akhalamhe who made the presentation to Comrade Leo Atakpu at the 14th edition of the Non governmental organization said they have decided to celebrate prominent individuals who have impacted the society while alive.
According to Bishop Akhalamhe, “We are celebrating 14 awardees because they have made an impact in Edo State, the nation and the society in general. Today, we are presenting you with an award for being an outstanding activist of the year and for your humility.”
In his response, Comrade Leo Atakpu thanked BA Global Awards for recognizing what he has done and he pledged to redouble his efforts to impact lives and humanity
“We will continue to do our part to salvage Nigeria, because service to humanity is the best way of life” he noted.
