There’s confusion surrounding the alleged kidnapping of over 170 worshippers by terrorists in three churches in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The churches, including ECWA and Cherubim and Seraphim, were reportedly attacked on Sunday, with worshippers taken captive.

The chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the 19 Northern states, Rev. Joseph John Hayab, confirmed that 172 worshippers were abducted, with nine escaping and 163 still in captivity. However, the Kaduna State Police Command and the local government chairman, Dauda Madaki, deny the incident, stating that security agencies found no evidence of an attack
