A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered all parties in the dispute between Ossiomo Investment Limited and JiangsuL Communication Clean Energy Technology Co. Ltd. (CCETC) to maintain the status quo pending the determination of a suit filed by CCETC.

The case, with suit number FHC/ABJ/2031/2025, was instituted by CCETC against the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Ossiomo Power on 15 October 2025.

Presided over by Hon. Justice P.O. Lifu, the court issued an interim injunction instructing parties not to take any further action until the matter is fully heard.

Ossiomo Power maintains that it remains the 100% shareholder of COPC, a position reflected in CAC records. The company noted that the issues raised by CCETC in the Abuja suit are the same as those already under arbitration in the Singapore Court, suggesting a deliberate attempt at forum shopping.

Ossiomo reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, stability, and responsible corporate governance.

Edo High Court Restrains Ologbo Community Leaders Over Ossiomo Industrial Park Land

In a separate ruling, the Edo State High Court in Benin City, presided over by Hon. Justice Mary Itsueli, granted an injunction restraining key leaders of Ologbo Community, including Chief Emmanuel Iyase (Okao of Ologbo), Mr. Eric Osawaru (Chairman, Ologbo Community Relations Committee), and Deacon Friday Osazuwa (Secretary, Ologbo Dukedom) from trespassing on or selling land belonging to Ossiomo Industrial Park.

The disputed property covers 1,511.269 hectares located in Ologbo, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area.

The restraining order, issued under suit number B/908/2025, prohibits the individuals and those they represent from erecting structures or interfering with the land in any form.

Ossiomo Power stated that it will continue to protect its assets and ensure that the Ossiomo Industrial Park remains secure and orderly for ongoing and future industrial activities.

The matter was adjourned to 26 January 2026 for hearing of the motion on notice.
