A shocking crime has rocked Owa-Alidima, Delta State, Nigeria. A 20-year-old herbalist, Amechi Okwuokenye and his 26-year-old stepbrother, *Smart Okwuokenye were arrested for allegedly murdering a client, Liberty Friday (22) and the motorcyclist, Isioma Ugbeje who brought him to the shrine.
His family, tipped off by his girlfriend, petitioned the Agbor Area Command after Amechi denied involvement and demanded money for “spiritual help.”
October 23Police arrested Amechi hiding in a refrigerator at the shrine.
The brothers kidnapped Liberty (a regular client for “money-attracting” charms) and the okada rider. They demanded ₦10 million ransom when it failed, they killed both and dumped their bodies in a septic tank
Liberty’s family grew suspicious when he didn’t return. The girlfriend recalled him mentioning the herbalist.
“My brother needed money. We targeted Liberty.
