The Journey to the Etsako region of Edo state began at almost exactly 8 am and continued smoothly till the Dr Loretta Free Healthcare Outreach team arrived at the magnificent hilly town of the AUCHI sacred kingdom.
While there, Dr Loretta led her team to first of all pay homage to the head and custodian of the ancient kingdom. The team were ushered into the beautiful and majestic court of the OTARU of AUCHI, His Royal Highness- Alhaji Aliru Momoh, Ikelebe III, where Dr Loretta explained her intention and the purpose of the health project, billed to take place on June 19 in AUCHI, to the OTARU. The monarch in turn welcomed her and her project, applauding her efforts to bring free healthcare closer to the people.
Some Chiefs who spoke on the doctor’s visit to the palace also appreciated her for the initiative and expressed enthusiasm about the outreach. They also assured her of their support towards her 2024 vision.
The Dr on her part, expressed gratitude to the OTARU for the warm welcome and hospitality, and indeed to every single person who had contributed in one way or another towards making the outreach program a success, from the volunteers to the sponsors, both home and abroad.
