Edo state deputy governor commission the newingly built GT outlet at NUJ premises.

The Edo state deputy Governor Philip shaibu, has charge journalist to promote stories that promote peace not stories that divide non promote crime in the state.

shaibu said this on friday at the commissioning of the newling build Glad Tidings (GT) outlet at the premises of the Nigeria Union of Journalsist Edo state council.

he urge journalist to do more of investigating journalism, stated that media should not continue reporting on kidnappers activities and ransoms being paid by their victims, that it gives publicity to them there by making some citizen thinks other wise.

he congratulate the nuj chairman, comrade festus Alenkhe, for making Edo Nuj comfortable place for members
he said he will for life be great full to journalist, and will continue to partner with nuj.

he also thank the MD GT plaza, elder Pius omofonmwan as he has been a point of contact to tell other citizens that Edo is secured for business. he added that they need champions, leader’s who will not think about their self’s alone but the people, he said government can’t not do all alone, they need to come together to see how they can fix Nigerian. he also supported the nuj musical band with two hundred and fifty thousand naira.

on his part, the managing director GT plaza, said Edo Nuj under festus Alenkhe is well respected and doing marvelously well and he saw him self as part of nuj, he thank the chairman for releasing the premises to establish the eateries he later supported the nuj musical band who entertain the guest with sweet melodious song with the sum of two hundred and fifty thousand naira, he also thank his staff who are behind the success of the company.
